OUR PROJECTS
DESIGN
-
We love traditional looks and materials – they feel comforting somehow. But we also enjoy quirky and different for that individual style.
Colour combinations both inside and out can be completely your choice..
The interior styling is down to your taste depending on how you intend on using your hut!

Traditional Shepherds huts were almost always made from wood, often from reclaimed timber that the shepherd or farmer could find laying around.
Whilst it is still possible to use timber, we prefer to give you a more durable and long lasting finish so we can use either Corrugated steel sheets or Cement fibre board. The steel sheets are coated with a leathergrain embossed plastisol product suitable for roof and wall cladding purposes. Depending on the colour choice and your location (coastal or inland) the performance guarantee will be upto 25 years. With the cement fibre board, the finished look can be absolutely beautiful, having the look of painted wood. The boards come in a variety of colours and are maintenance free which means your hut will look as good in ten year’s time. It can be wiped down with a cloth if required and won’t fade or weather.
Boards can be fixed horizontally or vertically for different styles.
Both cladding options have durability and longevity.

We have chosen certain companies to partner with who’s ethos align with ours directly. Their products compliment our huts and what they are used greatly for.
These companies include; Naked Flame hot tubs, Whistler grills, Delavita Pizza ovens and St Eval candles.
These companies products not only compliment our huts beautifully, but together create a tranquil family space to be enjoyed by all.

What is a Shepherds Hut?
The Shepherds Hut (or wagon) was, since 15th century and into the 20th century, used by Shepherds during sheep raising and lambing, primarily in the UK and France. Shepherds huts often had iron wheels and corrugated iron tops.
